Margot Rossi, M.Ac.

Hi there. Thank you for wondering,

‘Who am I?’

No matter who you are, that’s a deep question.

So, here’s one answer:

I am an acupuncturist, Asian medicine physician, health educator,
and movement instructor with 30 years of experience.

I’m also the author of To Be Like Water—
Cultivating a Graceful and Fulfilling Life Through the Virtues of Water and Dao Yin
Therapeutic Movement

My mission, with my private practice, book and classes, is to support you as you develop an awareness of your mind, body and spirit to cultivate a happy, healthy life.

And I’ve learned in my years of creating innovative programs on mindfulness, self-care, preventive and alternative medicines that our best medicine lives in the context of community. That’s why I love my group classes so much. Join me!

I’ve trained in the US and China in Classical Chinese Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese acupuncture, and yoga with master teachers Jeffrey Yuen, Heiner Fruehauf, Sharon Weizenbaum, Stephen Birch, Angela Farmer and Jean Klein. Though dao yin and Hatha yoga are my main mindful movement jam, I do love the feel of a good attitude devant and hip drop.

I live with my family and some chickens by the pristine waters
of the South Toe River in Western North Carolina.

Now, it’s your turn. I’d love to get to know you!
