Alchemical treatments are not like typical treatments to improve systems functions. They are focused to bring our attention into the moment, with an intention and commitment to come to know oneself and express who we are naturally. The aim here is to open our hearts, to see and accept who we are, communicate that to the world, and become more self-reliant.
This is a series of fifteen alchemical acupuncture treatments within the year to be scheduled at your convenience. We’ll work with acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, imagery, metaphor, movement and herbal medicines.
The treatments are based on Daoist alchemist Ge Hong’s first three steps of his nine step process, including the Nine Flowers to open the diaphragm, opening the throat/finding one’s voice, and harmonizing heart and kidneys/building self-reliance.
